PM returns home
Ending three-day official visit to Marrakech, a former imperial city in western Morocco, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home on Thursday morning.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Premier and her entourage landed at the airport at 8:15 am.
Ministers, advisers to the prime minister and high civil and military officials were present at the airport to receive the prime minister.
COP-22, which began on November 7 and to run through November 18 in Bab Ighli of Marrakech, is the first such meeting since the historic adoption of the Paris Agreement at COP-21 in December last year.
The Bangladesh premier joined the inaugural session of the conference along with other heads of state and government on November 15.
