Nasirnagar attacks: students blocked Shahbagh again
A group of Dhaka University students blocked again the Shahbagh intersection on Tuesday protesting attacks on Hindu minority community.
Over a hundred of students took position at the intersection this morning. Vehicle movement is suspended on the roads causing a huge tail back in the adjacent areas.
Abu Bakar Siddique, officer-in-charge of Shahbagh Police Station told reporters that additional police personnel were deployed in the area.
Earlier on Friday, students gave a three day ultimatum to the government after a sit-in at the same area intersection demanding justice to the minority attack.
Students said that they took street again as their demands were not met.
