Nasirnagar attacks: 6 more arrested
Police arrested six people in a case filed over arson attacks on Hindu community at Nasirnagar upazila in Brahmanbaria.
A team of police conducted a drive from Monday night to early Tuesday and arrested them from different parts of the upazila. Identities of the detainees could not be known immediately.
After the incident of the attack, a total of 84 people have been arrested till now.
Confirming the matter to Jagonews24.com, Md. Abu Zafar said police detained six people and they were shown arrested in the case filed over arson attack on Hindu community in Nasinagar.
On 30 October, some unruly people demolished 15 Hindu temples and vandalised more than 100 houses in the upazila following a Facebook post that allegedly hurt the religious sentiment.
On 3 October, a group of miscreants also set fire on three houses of the Hindhu community and a temple.
