Risha murder: Charge sheet submitted against Obaidul

Police have submitted charge sheet against Obaidul in the murder case of Willes Little Flower School and College eighth-grader Risha.

Ali Hossen, Inspector (investigation) of Ramna Police Station and also the Investigation Officer of the case submitted the charge sheet to a Dhaka court on Monday.

‘Police submitted the charge sheet against Obaidul,’ Ali Hossen told Jagonews.

A total of 26 witnesses have been kept in this case, he said.

Risha was stabbed by a stalker in front of her educational institution at Kakrail in Dhaka on August 24.

She died from her wounds at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on August 28.

Victim’s mother Tania Hossen filed a case with Ramna Police Station in this connection on August 24.

The killing of Risha has created a widespread protest across the country.
