Rain fails to hamper the Ijtema
Devotees came to join the Bishwa Ijtema on the bank of the river Turag got soaked by the sudden rain on early Saturday. Rain with intensified cold caused temporary inconvenience to the Musallis congregated at the ground of Ijtema.
But the devotees mentioned the rain as the grace of Allah, since it damped the dust of the ground.
No change will take place due to the rain or bad weather, confirmed the organizers of Ijtema. They told Jagonews the closing prayer will be held on time before the Zohar prayer on Sunday.
The second day of the Ijtema’s second phase began with the preaching of Mawlana Shawkat Ali from India after the Zohar prayer on Saturday. Mawlana Nurur Rahman translated his preaching for the devotees. After the Asar prayer marriage without dowry of about a 50 couples has been conducted by the Ijtema in the ground.
