Be aware to prevent communal clash: CJ to admin
The chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha has called upon administration and law enforcers to be aware to prevent communal clash in the country.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a programme which was arranged to inaugurate the fourth and fifth floor of ‘Bhakti Bilash Teertha Bhaban’ of Sri Sri Maddho Gourio Math at Narinda Road in the capital on Saturday.
Chief Justice said Santal who came under attacks and whose houses were burnt is very poor community. I expect, administration and law enforcers will be more conscious as this can’t take place further.
He urged two mayors of Dhaka City Corporation to take care as anyone can’t attack on places of worship.
He also assured to give a hand, if two city corporations in Dhaka face any impediment to evict illegal structures.
The programme was presided over Sri Giridhari Lal Modi, the president of Maddho Gourio Math, while Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Saeed Khokon was special guest, among others.
