Hanged body of CID officer recovered
The police have recovered a hanged death body of a CID officer from his apartment at Pallabi in the capital.
The deceased, Somen Hasnain Rabbani (38), was a sub-inspector (SI) of CID.
The death body was recovered breaking down the door of house No. 5, road No. 7 of block-A, Section-11 at Pallabi on Friday evening.
Officer In-Charge (OC) at Pallabi police station Dadon Fakir confirmed the matter to jagonews24.com.
He said Rabbani lived in the house with his family members but anyone couldn’t be found after the incident. The dead body will be send to Dhaka Medical College for autopsy, OC added.
