I made commitment without understanding: Anisul Haq
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Anisul Haq said that he made many commitments during electioneering without understanding the obstacles.
He said this while highlighting the obstacles he faces at a programme named ‘Smart City Hackathon’ on Friday.
DNCC mayor said. ‘I wanted to make smart city, but I didn’t know what smartness is. I told, traffic congestion will no more, but I was totally unaware that it isn’t duty of City Corporation. I told, water logging will run out, but it’s under WASA. I wanted to take canal dredging project, but it’s under district administration. So I can’t do what I want.’
