B’baria rampage: 4 more arrested
Police arrested four more people for their alleged involvement in the attacks on the Hindu community in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
Police conducted separate drives in different parts of the upazila from Thursday night to Friday dawn and arrested them.
Identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.
Confirming the matter, Abu Jafar, officer-in-charge of Nasirnagar Police Station, said a total of 78 people have been arrested in connection to the attacks on the Hindu community in the upazila.
On 30 October, some unruly people demolished 15 Hindu temples and vandalised more than 100 houses in the upazila following a Facebook post that allegedly hurt the religious sentiment.
