PM’s France visit cancelled
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s official visit to France has been cancelled considering the overall situation in Paris in the wake of deadly multiple terror attacks there that killed and injured many innocent people.
Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali was scheduled to brief the media at 3pm on Sunday over the Nov 16-18 visit.
However, the Foreign Ministry ‘postponed’ the press briefing in the morning saying it has been put on hold due to ‘unavoidable circumstances.’
The Prime Minister was scheduled to leave for Paris on Monday morning.
