Corrupts must be brought to justice: ACC Chairman

Anyone involved in corruption must be brought to justice, Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud said at a press conference at ACC office in the capital on Wednesday.

ACC commissioner (investigation) AFM Aminul Islam, commissioner (investigation) Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin and secretary Abu Md. Mostafa Kamal were present there.

Though the commission talked with journalists for several times at different programmes, Iqbal Mahmud appeared in press conference for the first time after taking charge as the chairman of ACC on March 14.

ACC chairman said, ‘I want to say strongly, not only influential people but also anyone involved in corruption must be brought to justice.’
