Oishee to die for killing her parents

A Dhaka court on Thursday sentenced Oishee Rahman to death for allegedly killing her parents Mahfuzur Rahman, an inspector of police`s special branch, and his wife Swapna.

Mizanur Rahman Roni was given two years of rigorous jail term for sheltering Oishee while Asaduzzaman Johnny was acquitted of the charges.

Speedy Trial Tribunal-3 Judge Syed Ahmed gave the verdict.

On November 4 the same court fixed the date for the verdict when Oishee claimed that she had not killed her parents.
