2 killed in Habiganj landslide

Two workers were killed in landslide while cutting hill at Shangkarsena area under Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj district on Tuesday at 8.30am.

The deceased are Shamsul Haque, 35 and Masuk Miah, 40. Both of them were the inhabitants of Shangkarsena area under Nabiganj upazila.

Confirming the matter, Abdul Baten Khan, Officer-in-Charge of Nabiganj Police Station, said the two workers were killed in landslide as they were cutting hill at Sankarsena area in the morning. Apart from another unidentified person was also injured in the incident, he added.
