EU calls for dialogue

Ambassadors from the countries of European Union called for dialogue between the political rivals in Bangladesh to stop the prevalent violence.

They expressed their concern on Wednesday while in a meeting with foreign minister A H Mahmud Ali. The minister invited the ambassadors at the state’s guest house Padma to inform them about present situation of the country as well as the activities of the government in last one year.

After the minister’s briefing, the representatives of the EU countries expressed deep concern over the loss of life and goods due to present political situation .
