Police informer hacked to death in Kalshi

A police informer was hacked to death by miscreants in the capital’s Kalshi early Sunday.

The dead man is Manik, 45, son of Kitab Ali, hailed from Naogaon district.

Dadon Fakir, officer-in-charge of Pallabi Police Station, said, Manik came under attack and injured critically when he was going to Kalshi intersection.

Later a rickshaw puller recovered him and brought to Pallabi Police Station. Manik was declared dead by the doctors when he was sent to the hospital, he added.
