Drug addict son kills father in Jurain

A man was killed allegedly by his drug addict son at Jurain medical road area under Kodomtoli Thana on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased is identified as Mohor Ali, 60, hailing from Munshiganj.

Family sources said, Sumon, the son of Mohor cutthroat him on Saturday afternoon while he was lying in his home, which leaves him critically injured.

After hearing Mohor’s wife screaming locals rushed to the spot and recovered blood soaked Mohor from his house in a critical condition and rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctor declared him dead.

Sumon was undergoing treatment in India for the drug addiction and he was brought back home some days ago, family members said.

Bacchu Mia, sub-inspector of DMCH police camp, confirmed the incident.
