Man held with fake Indian currency in C’nawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man along with seven lakh fake Indian currencies from Dhop pukur area in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj.

The arrestee was identified was Suman Ali, 28, son of Hazrat Ali, a resident of Kolabari village in the upazila.

Acting on a tip- off, a team of Rab-5 conducted a drive in Dhop pukur area and arrested Suman on Wednesday night.

The Rab members also recovered seven lakh fake Indian currencies from his possession.

A case was filed in this connection.
