PM Hasina launches Child Help Line

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina opened a Help Line 1098 through video conference from Gono Bhabon around 11:30am on Thursday.

The helpline will offer protection against child abuses at homes, schools, workplaces, institutions and in public areas.

The Child Help Line (CHL) to be administered under the guidance of Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Social Welfare was established with financial and technical support of the UNICEF.
