Injured Janata League leader died in Narayanganj

A leader of Janata League, who suffered injuries in an attack by miscreants on Tuesday night, succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday morning.

The dead man is Monir Hosen, president of Fatullah thana unit of Janata League in Narayanganj. Sub-inspector Bacchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police camp, confirmed the matter to Jagonews24.com.

According to source, a gang of miscreants attacked Monir around 8pm on Tuesday while he was returning home.

At one stage, the attackers stabbed Monir indiscriminately, leaving him seriously injured. Monir was admitted to DMCH where he succumbed to his injures around 6am on Wednesday.
