Ambulance kills 2 at DMCH

At least two people including a child were killed and injured several others as an ambulance hit them near the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Saturday.

Police said the accident took place around 9am when an ambulance speeding towards the emergency wing lost control.

Confirming the matter, DMCH police camp’s Sub-inspector Bachchu, said that, an ambulance hit a rickshaw and several other pedestrians.

An unidentified man, 60, and a child, 8, were died immediately after the accident. Apart from three injured people were sent to hospital in a critical condition, he said.
