Chinese President lands in Dhaka

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived Dhaka on Friday morning on a historic state visit to help usher in a new era in Dhaka-Beijing relations.

The Chinese President arrived in town at 11:36 am by a special VVIP flight, and he was escorted by Air Force jet in Bangladesh sky.

President Md Abdul Hamid received him at the airport with 21-gun salute, according to a news agency.
