Prof Anu Muhammad receives death threat
Prof Anu Muhammad of Jahangirnagar University’s (JU) Economics Department received a death threat on early Thursday on his cell phone through a text.
The member secretary of the National Committee to Protect Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Port Anu Muhammad said he got the threat through a text from the number 01629967551 around 1am on Thursday that read, ‘Death keeps no calendar, and Ansatullah knows no time!’
Speaking to Jagonews24.com Anu Muhammad said he was yet to file a general diary with the police in this regard. He said he was thinking on filing one.
