AL activist gunned down in Jessore
An activist of Awami League (AL) was gunned down by his rival group on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ezaz Ahmed, son of late Abul Hosen, of Jhaudia village under the Jessore sadar upazila.
According to source, Ezaz came under attack when he was reaching at Mollikpara riding a motorcycle.
Later locals recovered his bullet-hit body and sent to Jessore Medical College and Hospital where doctor declared him dead.
In this connection, Elias Hosen, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said, police are investigating the matter.
