BNP calls Hartal on Thursday

Bnagladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led 20 party alliances called countrywide daylong hartal on Thursday protesting the attack on Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser and former state minister for foreign affairs Reaz Rahman.
A press release signed by Md. Abdul Latif johny, deputy office secretary of the party, confirmed the countrywide strike on Thursday.
Some unidentified miscreants on Tuesday evening shot Reaz Rahman, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia`s adviser, and set fire on his private car in front of Pink City Shopping Mall in the city`s Gulshan area.
