Bus torched in Rangpur, 4 dead

Miscreants set fire on a passenger-laden bus at Batashan in Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur district on early Wednesday leaving 4 people dead including a child. Another 10 were injured.

Deceased were not identified immediately, said Abdur Razzak, Police Super of Rangpur.

Injured were rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital, among whom 4 were in critical condition, said the police super. police later nabbed 8 activists of Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, in this connection.
