Mamata Banarjee congratulates Prof Yunus

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee has congratulated Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus on being the Chief Adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh.

In a post on her X handle, she wrote, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Professor Yunus and all those who have taken charge in Bangladesh. I hope our relationship with them will improve further.”

The interim government of Bangladesh led by Dr Muhammad Yunus took oath on Thursday.
