Coronavirus: Global death toll rises to 47,245

The global death toll from coronavirus or COVID-19 climbed to 47,245 on Thursday.
It has so far infected 935,957 people around the world, according to worldometer.
Of them, 694,426 are currently being treated with 35,610 being in serious or critical condition.
So far, 194,286 people have recovered.
On Wednesday, Bangladesh confirmed its sixth coronavirus death and three new cases. The country has so far confirmed 54 cases.
The new coronavirus pandemic first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year.
