Fire at Modi's official resident in Delhi

A fire has broken out inside Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official residence, located at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg (formerly known as 7 Race Course Road) in New Delhi, reports India Today. 

The fire department received the call at 07:25 pm. Nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot, which were able to douse the blaze by 07:55 pm. The source of the fire was an inverter.

There are no reports of any injuries or property damage so far.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not at his official residence at the time of the incident.
