BSF-BGB exchange sweets on India’s R-day

Border guards of India and Bangladesh on Friday exchanged greetings and sweets on the occasion of India’s 69th Republic Day at Phulbari land port, at the Jalpaiguri-Brahmanbaria border in West Bengal, reports ANI.

It has been a long running tradition between the two forces to exchange sweets on the occasion.

The tradition assumes significance as it shows goodwill between both the nations.

On the others hand, the Border Security Force (BSF) refused to share sweets with Pakistan Rangers on the Day.
