Saudi to recruit 3,000 Bangladeshi workers

Saudi Arabia will recruit 3,000 Bangladeshi workers in various professions this year, according to a top manpower buyer of the country.

Fahad Al Sulaim, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Recruitment, informed Bangladeshi ambassador to Saudi Arabia Golam Mosi of the plans at a meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday.

Ambassador Mosi also spoke with top officials of various Saudi corporations, including Nesma, Al Yamama and Nasser S Al Hajri, and encouraged them to recruit skilled Bangladeshi workers.

He also highlighted the need for worker training, the provision of information regarding employment in Saudi Arabia to increase the number of workers Bangladesh supplies to the country.
