Shot fires at Bangladesh embassy in Libya
Unidentified persons opened fire at Bangladesh’s embassy in Tripoli, the capital city of Libya, on Friday evening.
Md Muzammel Haque, Charge d’affaires of the embassy, narrowly escaped being hit by a bullet.
A diplomat of the embassy said the mission was holding the second day’s programme on the occasion of Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day.
Three bullets hit the wall of the embassy at the end of the programme.
However, the attackers were unidentified and the motive was also unclear.
