Colombia plane crash: 2 rescued alive

At least two people have been rescued alive from the crashed plane in Colombia.

Chapocoense defender Alan Ruschel has been rescued from the wreckage of his plane and is now being treated in hospital.

The 27-year-old was on loan from Brazilian side Sport Club Internacional, based in Porto Alegre. He was taken by ambulance to La Ceja Hospital.  He is understood to have suffered a broken hip and head injuries.

Apart from, Marcos Danilo Padilha, Chapocoense goalkeeper, has been named in unconfirmed reports as another survivor of the plane crash.

A plane carrying 81 people, including a top Brazilian football team, has crashed on its approach to the city of Medellin in Colombia.
