Why it is healthier for men to sit and pee

If you worry much about hygiene, you must have asked your partner to sit while using the loo to avoid sprinkling urine on the seat. But there are some legit reasons that might just change the way men prefer to pee.

It’s a man’s natural instinct to stand and pee. And their physiology favours that too but some new findings are urging men to sit and do the job.

It is unhygienic: But the splattering of urine is unhygienic. It can lead to bad odour.

It spreads diseases: not only bad odor, it can also prevent diseases from spreading as spilled urine is the perfect medium for bacteria growth.

It hampers sex life: Sitting and urinating also allows the bladder to empty fully. This means lower chances of urinary tract infections and better genital health. Ultimately, it contributes to a better sex life.

Both are healthy for healthy men: Having said that, sitting and urinating is favourable for men with some health condition. Otherwise, follow whatever suits you best.
