Anushka, Aishwarya and Ranbir in a complicated relationship!

After tweeting posters of his upcoming movie, filmmaker Karan Johar shared the first teaser of Ae Dil Hai Hai Mushkil Tuesday morning.

The film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan, Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

The one-and-a-half minute long video shows Ranbir with Anushka and Aishwarya at different points in time, hinting at a possibly complex relationship between them.

Fawad Khan also makes a brief appearance, adding to the drama. While not much is revealed with the teaser, one thing is sure - this will be one super-emotional ride.

Going by the first teaser, Ranbir is likely to anchor the story in the film - his intensity overpowers the entire video.

He ends the video saying, ‘Ektarfa pyar ki taaqat hi kuch aur hai. Auro ki tarah ye do logon me batata nahi. Sirf mera haq hai ispe. (The power of unrequited love is different, it is not divided between two people. I own this.)’

Karan Johar, who last directed Student Of The Year (2012), brings deep emotions with the film and despite the teaser not revealing much, it makes us feel the pathos of the characters.

Casting Aishwarya Rai (42) with an actor as young as Ranbir (33), Karan brings a rare pairing to Bollywood with his latest offering.

However, this is not first time Bollywood will see such a paring - Kareena (Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu), Katrina (Fitoor), Kalki (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), Priyanka Chopra (Gunday), Rani Mukerji (Dil Bole Hadippa), Bipasha Basu (Bachna Ae Haseeno) and a few others have also worked with actors younger to them.

Directed by Karan Johar, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the second film that features Ranbir and Anushka opposite each other. The duo has previously appeared in Bombay Velvet.

Shot in Delhi, New York, London and Paris, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil deals with relationships and heart breaks.
Reportedly Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be clashing with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay when it hits theatres this Diwali.
