Celebrated actor Prabir Mitra has been hospitalised with old age complications.
He was admitted to a private hospital in Dhaka on December 22, his son Sifat Islam told the media on Saturday, January 4.
"We admitted my father to a hospital on December 22 with some old age complications. Later, he was taken to the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, as his body did not have enough oxygen. As he felt better, he was taken to the cabin. Now he was kept at the High Dependency Unit, HDU," he said.
"His physical condition is deteriorating. He loses blood and his platlet decreases, Sifat added.
