'Gladiator 2' to premiere in Bangladesh before US release

Fans of the Hollywood classic ‘Gladiator’ can soon relive the epic story, as the highly anticipated sequel ‘Gladiator 2’ arrives on the big screen after more than two decades. 

The 2000 film became a box-office sensation, earning over $460 million and winning five Oscars, including Best Picture. 

Directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix, ‘Gladiator’ remains one of the most celebrated films of the century.

In a twist of excitement for Bangladeshi audiences, ‘Gladiator 2’ will premiere in Bangladesh’s Star Cineplex on November 15, a week ahead of its US release on November 22. 

This advance release gives fans in Bangladesh an exclusive first look at the continuation of this cinematic saga.

In ‘Gladiator 2’, British actor Paul Mescal takes on the lead role as Lucius Verus, the son of Lucilla and nephew of Commodus, returning to the Roman Empire after 15 years. 

As Verus is drawn into the brutal world of gladiatorial combat, his story unfolds with high-stakes drama. The star-studded cast includes Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.

The sequel has already received positive feedback from screenings at international film festivals, heightening anticipation worldwide for this epic return to the gladiatorial arena.
