I never get pocket money: Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, who is one of the highest paid actresses of Bollywood, says she does not understand monetary investments as her father, former badminton champion Prakash Padukone, manages her finances.
Deepika, 29, revealed on the sidelines of an event that she was never given pocket money as a child.
“My father takes care of my investments so I don’t know much about it (where and how the money is invested). I am not too much of a tech person. I don’t understand what apps are about. I prefer clicking pictures and then printing them and putting them in album,” Deepika told reporters here.
“I give money to my father and he takes good care of it. When I was small, I did not get pocket money,” she added.
Deepika has been busy shooting Tamasha in which she stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film will hit theatres on November 27. This year, she will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
