Kajol set to reunite with Prabhu Deva on screen after 27 years
Actors Kajol and Prabhu Deva are set to reunite on the silver screen after a gap of 27 years. This highly anticipated collaboration is being directed by acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Charan Tej Uppalapati who is also marking his debut in Bollywood.
The upcoming film is a high-budget action thriller that is expected to be a visual and narrative treat. The movie includes industry legends such as Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sen Gupta, Aditya Seal, and many more in key roles, reports Times of India.
Notably, this project will also be the first time Naseeruddin Shah and Kajol share screen space.
The production of this mass entertainer is already in full swing, with the first schedule successfully completed. The filmmakers are now gearing up to release the teaser soon.
Charan Tej Uppalapati’s ambitious venture is supported by top-tier technicians, ensuring high production values and technical excellence. GK Vishnu, known for his breathtaking visuals, is the Director of Photography, while Harshavardhan Rameshwar is composing the music, and editing is being handled by Navin Nooli.
The screenplay is penned by the talented duo Niranjan Iyengar and Jessica Khurana.
The reunion of Kajol and Prabhu Deva is particularly nostalgic, as they last appeared together in the 1997 Tamil film 'Minsara Kanavu,' directed by Rajiv Menon. Their on-screen chemistry was well-received, and fans are eagerly awaiting their return to the big screen in this film.
