6 Rabindra Sangeet albums released

A total of six Rabindra Sangeet albums presented by two music production houses were released marking the 75th death anniversary of poet-musician Rabindranath.

Most of the albums are solo while one is a duet album.

Laser Vision has brought four solo albums including Makbul Hossain’s Megher Chhayanir, Happy Das’ Mon Urchhe Uruk Na Re, Akhi Baidda’s Se Amar Gopon Kotha and Ajay Mitra’s Srabon Diney.

G-series and its sister concern Agniveena have the released Mira Mandal’s solo Anek Kotha Bolechhilam.

G-series has also released the only solo album of the pack, titled Rabendrik, in which young artistes Nirjhar Chowdhury and Sithi Saha collaborated to sing the songs.
