Zayed Khan’s BFAA membership suspended
The Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association (BFAA) has suspended the membership of Dhallywood actor Zayed Khan for his alleged indecent remarks about its President and General Secretary.
Symon Sadik, Joint General Secretary of the BFAA, said this at a press conference at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) in the capital’s Tejgaon on Sunday.
He said the membership of Zayed Khan was suspended at the ninth general meeting of the executive committee with the consent of the members.
He said Zayed Khan made remarks about the President and General Secretary in different platforms which is contrary to the constitution of the association.
Earlier on February 22, Zayed Khan was served a show cause notice in this regard and asked to respond within seven days. The actor told media that he couldn’t reply as he stayed abroad at that time.
