Music Director Anwar Jahan Nantu no more

Noted Music Director and freedom fighter Anwar Jahan Nantu has died at the age of 78.
He breathed his last at BRB Hospitals in the capital at 3am on Monday.
His son popular television Director Sagar Jahan confirmed the death to Jago News.
Sagar said, his father died duo to old age complications. His father’s namaz-e-janaza will be held at Moghbazar Boro Masjid after Zuhr prayer.
Nantu gifted the music industry with numerous timeless hits, including "Tumi Amar Moner Majhi", "Premer Somadhi Bhenge", "Chokher Jole Ami" and "Tumi Dub Diona", amongst others.
