Rajamouli calls NTR Jr an action powerhouse

Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli has recently termed Telugu actor NTR Jr as an ‘action powerhouse’ and a ‘born actor’. 

The two last worked together in 2022’s Telugu-language epic action drama film RRR, which also featured Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani and grossed over Rs 1200 Crore at the box office. 

“NTR Jr is an action powerhouse. I think he is a born actor. He has a fantastic memory. As soon as I describe a scenario or a story, it is permanently ingrained in his mind. It comes as no surprise to me that he performs in the manner required of him as soon as the camera starts to roll,” said Rajamouli.

The actor-director duo share a remarkable bond, which is well demonstrated by the outstanding work they have done together. Over the course of their 20-year friendship, the two have collaborated on four films, including S.S. Rajamouli’s debut movie Students No. 1 and his latest box office smash-hit RRR. The other two are Simhadri and Yamadonga, both of which have also received acclaim and adoration from audiences all over the world.

While still basking in RRR’s success, NTR Jr. has a host of interesting projects lined up for him. His upcoming films include Janatha Garage director Koratala Siva’s next and KGF-helmer Prashanth Neel’s next.
