Producer-director Azizur Rahman Buli dies

Renowned producer-director Azizur Rahman Buli has passed away. 

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Red Care Hospital in the capital’s Uttara at 3:30am on Monday. 

Director Apurba Rana confirmed the death to Jago News on Monday morning.  

Buli produced the first film “Nacher Putul in 1970. He made his directorial debut in 1980 with the film “Shesh Uttar”.

He was the former president of Bangladesh Film Producers Association. He was born in Old Dhaka on May 1, 1946.
