‘Akira’ trailer released

The trailer for Sonakshi Sinha starrer Akira was released on Monday evening.

The action film directed by A.R.Muragadoss is a remake of the Tamil flick Mouna Guru which starred Arulnidhi.

Sonakshi has reportedly learnt martial arts for the film. At the trailer launch of the film, Sonakshi was asked who her favourite action co-star was, she replied, ‘Dabangg is Salman, Rowdy is Akshay and Sardar is Ajay.

The past five years I’ve been working with these guys and I have learned only ‘maar peet’ from them.’

‘It’s truly been a pleasure watching them do the action on screen. I love action films, I love to be a part of them and I’m really happy, thankful, grateful that I could be doing the action in this film myself.’

Akira, which will be released on September 2, will also feature Sonakshi’s father and actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, Konkana Sen Sharma and Anurag Kashyap.
