Afsana Mimi hospitalized with Covid-19 infection

Renowned actress and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy director Afsana Mimi was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University hospital with coronavirus infection on Thursday.

Journalist Nazrul Islam close to the actress' family confirmed the matter.

Afsana Mimi gave her sample for coronavirus tests after she fell sick and that came out positive a week ago, he told Jago News this afternoon.

Since then, she had been self-isolated at home, and recovered but still suffering from cough that led her to get admitted at hospital today, Nazrul added.
