Udta Punjab’s ‘Chitta Ve’ sizzles

The first song of the much-awaited drama thriller ‘Udta Punjab’ was released on Wednesday.

‘Chitta Ve’ features Rock star Tommy Singh (played by Shahid Kapoor) dancing to the peppy tune. The music is composed by Amit Trivedi.

Alia Bhatt will be seen playing a Bihari migrant in the movie. The film also features actors Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.

The trailer shows all the four protagonists with one connection: substance abuse in Punjab.

However, Alia and Shahid stand apart in the three-minute trailer with their unique personas.

Shahid Kapoor is seen as a rockstar, Kareena Kapoor a doctor and Diljit a police man.

‘Udta Punjab’ is set to release on June 17.
