Sonakshi to play Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will be playing gangster Dawood Ibraham`s sister, Haseena Parker in upcoming film “Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai”. Director Apoorva Lakhia is all set to put her life on the big screen where Sonakshi will portray the lead role.

Apoorva has been toying with the idea of making a film on Haseena Parkar since quite some time now. However, the director finally found the right actress in Sonakshi Sinha.

On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha, currently busy with “Akira”, is equally excited about playing Haseena. While she is glad about playing a character which is a complete opposite of what she is, she is also happy that her wish of doing a biopic is fulfilled.

The film is slated to go on floor early next year.
