Priyanka’s fiancé Nick reveals he was diagnosed with diabetes at 13

While the excitement surrounding Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's Lake Como wedding continues to enthrall fans, there's another celebrity wedding around the corner. Priyanka Chopra is all set to get married to Nick Jonas in December in a lavish Jodhpur wedding.

The lovebirds have been inseparable since their roka ceremony in August this year. Their social-media PDA gives fans some serious couple goals as well.

Recently, Nick shared a throwback picture of himself on Instagram, revealing how he had been diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 13.

"13 years ago today I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The picture on the left is me a few weeks after my diagnosis. Barely 100 pounds after having lost so much weight from my blood sugar being so high before going to the doctor where I would find out I was diabetic. On the right is me now.

Happy and healthy. Prioritizing my physical health, working out and eating healthy and keeping my blood sugar in check. I have full control of my day to day life with this disease, and I’m so grateful to my family and loved ones who have helped me every step of the way. Never let anything hold you back from living your best life. Thank you to all my fans for your kind words and support. Means more than you know. Love you all," he wrote.

Priyanka commented, "Everything about you is special, with or without diabetes."

The wedding preparations for the two are underway, and Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra was recently in Jodhpur to oversee the prep.

After her bachelorette in Amsterdam with her girl gang, Priyanka returned to India to resume the next schedule of Sky Is Pink.

If the grapevine is to be believed, Nick will have 11 groomsmen by his side as he gets hitched to Priyanka, including his brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Frankie Jonas. Nick's Kingdom co-star Jonathan Tucker and Priyanka's brother Siddharth Chopra are a part of the groom-to-be's squad.

Speculation is rife that Nick and Priyanka visited the Beverly Hills Courthouse last week and applied for a marriage license. It is being said that the couple will bring the license to India, where they will reportedly tie the knot, and then file the license in the US, so that their marriage is official in both countries.

Nick and Priyanka's wedding will be a three-day extravaganza, starting from November 30. The couple will have two different ceremonies, to honour each other's faith.
