Irrfan to return to Mumbai, start shooting for ‘Hindi Medium’ sequel
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan left everyone in a state of shock when he had earlier revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Soon after, the actor dropped out of a few projects and went to London for getting the disease treated.
The hearts of all the fans and followers of broke into a million pieces when came to know about this and the fact that they wouldn't get to see the talented actor soon on the silver screen.
But every cloud has a silver lining!
Earlier, we had informed you that the actor is returning on the big screen with the sequel of Hindi Medium and now, the good news is that Irrfan is all set to return to the 'bay'.
Yes, that's right! Irrfan Khan is flying down to Mumbai in a day or two, and will soon get back on the sets!
This also means that the actor's health is improving and that there has been an upward peak in his treatment.
According to a report by Bollywoodlife, Irrfan Khan is ready to start shooting for Hindi Medium 2, which is slated to go on floors in the first week of December.
This all happened when the the makers of the film flew down to London to meet Irrfan and a narration of the script was held. A heartwarming meeting resulted in Irrfan deciding to do Hindi Medium sequel.
The Hindi Medium sequel will be produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films with a plot that will flash-forward to 10 years to tell us the next part of the story of the Hindi loving Raj, the character played by Irrfan.
Hindi Medium was a sleeper hit that released in 2017.
