Oishee crowned Miss World Bangladesh

Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, who has been crowned the Miss World Bangladesh, will represent Bangladesh in the 68th Miss World beauty pageant in China this year. 

The grand finale of ‘Diamond World Miss World Bangladesh 2018’ was held at the Bashundhara International Convention Centre in the capital on Sunday.

From the top 10 contestants, the judges of the grand finale announced the name of Jannatul Ferdous Oishee as Miss World Bangladesh, the winner of the contest. Nishat Mawa Salwa and Naziba Bushra are the first and second runner up respectively.

Antar Showbiz conducted the selection process at a beautiful set constructed at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation. After auditions of more than 30 thousand girls who registered online, selection, and performance based rounds, top ten contestants were selected by the judges.

The broadcasting partner was ATN Bangla, Ekattor TV was the TV news partner, the hospitality partner was Royal Paradise Hotel, Jago News24 was the online partner, and Jago FM 94.4 was their FM radio partner.

Previously, Jessia Islam was selected as the face to represent Bangladesh last year in the main competition of Miss World 2017.
